Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Supervisor. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience during their stay. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Must have open availability. Shifts will primarily be evenings from 3PM-11PM but we are looking for someone who is available to cover any shift when needed. Fosse/Marriott experience required.
Duties:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a warm welcome upon arrival
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently, while maintaining accuracy in reservations and payment processing
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and effectively
- Manage phone systems, including answering calls, taking messages, and transferring calls to appropriate departments
- Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns and resolving issues to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Knowledge of hotel management software is an advantage
- Ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
