Position Description:

LCG is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist (Jamf) to support an institute at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) located in Bethesda, MD.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Jamf Management
  • Create software packages for deployment.
  • Create scripts for various uses.
  • Create configuration profiles for deploying settings/restrictions.
  • Patch management.
  • Manage enrollment/imaging tasks.
  • Manage Apple Business Manager
  • Manage Jamf Self Service
  • Test newly released operating systems and software, prepare them for mass deployment.
  • API integration with LAPS
• Ivanti Management
  • Base Image
  • Packages for deployment
  • Provisioning templates for imaging
• Adobe License Management
• Manage NIDCR Service Accounts
• Active Directory administration

Requirements:

• 10 years of professional experience providing end user IT support.
• 7 years of experience administering Jamf and Ivanti MDM solutions.
• High School or bachelor’s degree
• Jamf Pro administration
• Ivanti Management suite administration
• Patch management.
• Enterprise IT infrastructure support
• Software/systems maintenance and upgrade
• PC and Mac imaging & troubleshooting
• Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently and independently.
• A customer-centric approach to understand and address clients' needs promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• A collaborative mindset to work effectively with colleagues, share knowledge, and contribute to team success.

Preferred Requirements:

• ServiceNow ticket queuing and management
• iPhone enterprise administration and support
• Microsoft Office 365 end user support
• Certifications:
  • Jamf Certified Tech (Jamf 200)
  • Jamf Certified Admin (Jamf 300)
  • ITIL v4 Foundation

Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $96,000 to $131,000 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
