Job Title: Project Engineer (Civil Engineering)
Job Type: Full Time
Location: Naperville, IL, 60563
What you will be doing:
- Work with the Naperville office team to prepare civil engineering design for projects such as retail shopping centers, restaurants, schools, and industrial development.
- Undertake site due diligence and layout, grading and utility design, and stormwater management calculations.
- Collaborate with the larger company including survey, structural, transportation, and landscape architecture departments.
- Represent the firm at meetings with clients, owners, or agencies during the design and construction process.
Experience you will need:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
- 8-12 years of progressive experience in land development design and civil engineering.
- Experience with grading, utility, and stormwater design.
- Experience permitting with Illinois agencies such as DuPage County, MWRD, IEPA, IDOT, etc.
- Attention to detail and self-initiative.
- Ability to delegate tasks to team members.
- Strong organization skills.
- Advanced technical writing and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
