Role:Mixing apprentices assist other associates in unloading, dumping, and mixing tasks as needed.What are we looking for?
- An associate who is highly engaged and motivated to learn and grow with the business takes pride in their work.
- An associate to support the operation of the plant site.
- Willing to work with the sanitation team when needed.
- This role will be responsible for the site sustainability initiatives and motivated to learn the part of the mixing operator.
- This is a developmental role that can lead to a mixing operator position.
- Execute cleaning tasks in the area as described below:
- Ensure all ATA yellow carts are recorded and dumped into the proper recycler.
- Sanitize all empty carts and replace them in the staging area.
- Ensure all blue and red carts are weighed, recorded, and dumped into Tosh boxes and/or into recyclers’ when approved; keep scale area, tosh box area, and wet waste areas cleaned and sanitized.
- Perform sanitation and maintenance level 1 of wet waste and steam recyclers.
- Assist other associates in their unloading, dumping, and mixing tasks as needed.
- Apply GMP-GHP, HACCP, LOTO, And ISO practices per requirements.
- When working the day shifts, 5 am to 1 pm, you are responsible for the 5th floor.
- Dust, sweep, and mop.
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Have a High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
- Must be willing and able to work and accept varying shifts and schedules.
- Ability to understand and effectively communicate in the English language.
- Working knowledge of Safety, Quality, and Material Management Systems and procedures
- Ability to read and understand the daily production run schedule and execute that plan.
- Ability to communicate to managers and team members any production, quality/food safety, or other business-critical information vital to operations and customer service.
- Must be willing and able to work and accept varying shifts and schedules.
