Mars is Hiring a Sr. Digital Technologies Finance Manager, ERP Near Newark, NJ

Job Description:This is a crucial role for supporting the Digital Technology agenda as part of the PN Digital First Transformation program over the coming 3 years. The primary purpose of this role is to provide finance support to the Digital projects transforming Supply and Demand, an expected investment of around ~$800m cumulative spend over the coming years.
This role will primarily support the PN ERP Transformation, expected around ~400M cumulative spend over the coming years.
This role will be the main support for the Digital Technology teams working on Transformation while working alongside and collaborating with the existing DT Finance team who supports the BAU DT operations. Close collaboration with the Transformation PMO team will be crucial for success.
What are we looking for?
  • Min 5 years of experience working in a finance or planning environment, experience of working in a global function/organization is desired. Shared service center experience is a plus but not required.
The role is global in nature with global stakeholders and will require flexibility to participate in meetings that might frequently occur outside of normal business hours in local time zone. Dynamic environment, requiring flexibility to frequently shift priorities.
This role will require agility to design, develop and adjust based upon the demand within the PN DT Transformation program. This is an unknown territory and agility to adjust based upon learnings and increased knowledge is paramount.
This is a project-based role that will conclude with the Transformation DT project.
What Will Be Your Key ResponsibilitiesThe role includes, but is not limited to:
  • Financial planning, analysis and development of insights across the Digital Transformation Projects
  • Investment support to DT Transformation Program Lead & Project Managers
  • Cost classification across Transformation eligible (Non-OP) and non-eligible costs
  • Periodic & quarterly reporting of costs to the PN Transformation Office
  • Managing the PN DT segment transformation- MGS ledger utilized for Transformation ensuring strong governance & control
The nature of the role requires a high degree of collaboration and managing stakeholders across Digital Technology Regionally and Globally due to the nature of Transformation. Likewise, the existing DT Finance team will be a key stakeholder and close collaboration and support between the team members are expected in terms of utilizing expertise and knowledge.
