Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Technician to join our team. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines and vehicles. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical skills and a passion for working with diesel engines.

Duties:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines, such as faulty fuel systems, worn-out parts, or electrical malfunctions
- Conduct inspections and tests to identify any potential problems or areas of improvement
- Use specialized tools and equipment to troubleshoot and diagnose issues accurately
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed to ensure proper functioning of diesel engines
- Align and suspend diesel engines in vehicles to ensure proper balance and performance
- Perform automotive diagnostics to identify and resolve complex issues
- Repair air brake systems in tractor-trailers
- Conduct regular inspections of diesel vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Assist with heavy lifting as required for engine removal or installation

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine mechanics, including experience with Caterpillar engines
- Proficient in automotive repair techniques and procedures
- Ability to fabricate or modify parts as needed
- Familiarity with suspension systems and alignment procedures
- Skilled in automotive diagnostics to identify and resolve complex issues
- Experience working with air brake systems in tractor-trailers
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
