Martin Pringle is seeking a talented and experienced professional to join our team as a Civil Litigation, Appellate, and Brief Writing Attorney. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in civil litigation with a strong focus on research and writing. Aviation law or judicial clerkship experience are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Perform exceptional legal research and analysis on various civil litigation matters in various state and federal courts
- Draft compelling legal motions, briefs, and memoranda
- Craft cogent mediation statements
- Provide support on appellate cases, including drafting appellate briefs and motions
- Collaborate with trial attorneys to prepare for and support oral argument and trial
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in Kansas (Missouri license a plus)
- 3 years of experience in civil litigation, specifically in dispositive motion practice and appellate brief writing
- Strong research and writing skills
- Ability to distill persuasive arguments from variety of evidentiary materials and applicable legal authority in complex matters
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities
- Exemplary time management
