Maryland Community Solar is Hiring an Outside Sales Representative Near Georgetown, DE

We are expanding into the Delaware market and looking for sales representatives to work in both the Delaware and Maryland Markets.

The Role:

As an Outside Sales Representative, you are the face of Maryland Community Solar, playing a crucial role in expanding the reach of our solar programs. You will be the driving force behind our mission to connect residents and businesses with our state-supported solar solutions, making a real difference in people’s lives and the environment.

Your Mission:

  • Engage with the community through face-to-face interactions, presenting the benefits of joining community solar projects.
  • Identify and target potential customers, building meaningful relationships and expanding our customer base.
  • Explain the specifics of various solar programs, tailoring your approach to meet individual needs.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop innovative sales strategies and achieve targets.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in solar technology and state-backed initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A passion for environmental sustainability and renewable energy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for persuasive communication.
  • Self-driven, resilient, and adaptable to different sales environments.
  • Prior experience in outside or direct-to-door sales (preferred, but not mandatory).

Compensation:

  • Training Pay: Qualifying new hires will earn a base pay of $600 per week during training.
  • Sign-on Bonus: Qualified new hires will receive a sign-on bonus of $1,000 which includes an iPad, case, and an additional $500. Milestones need to be achieved to qualify for the bonus.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
