Maryland.gov is Hiring a Program associate Near Allegany, NY

Main Purpose of Job

This position will assist consumers with the online application in the HBX / Maryland Health Connection system to determine the eligibility of applicants for the Maryland Children's Health Program (MCHP), Family and Children, and other qualifying parents and adults, and review client information for continued eligibility.

This position will process verifications in the MD Health Connection from the statewide work pool.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education : Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.

Experience : One year of clerical experience applying policies in a medical care, health insurance or federal or State entitlement program.

Notes :

2. Candidates may substitute thirty credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The preferred applicant should have experience with the MMIS / FMIS systems or other history of work with database systems.
