DescriptionThe Evaporator Operator will run the evaporation systems, HTST, and Separator to the required specification and according to S.O.P.’s. Responsible for operating, sanitizing, and performing basic maintenance on machinery as required.
Work Schedule Requirements: Must be flexible with schedule in this relief position. Tuesday and Wednesdays off. Work schedule is Thursday-Sunday & flexible hours.Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Efficiently operate of the Evaporator, HTST, and Separator to the required specification and according to S.O.P.’s
- Properly complete required information on charts, checklist, run logs, cleaning documents, and any forms associated with cleaning or operation.
- Clean the Evaporator, Separator, tanks, lines, and Homogenizer; may manually clean required equipment using a sanitary product.
- Operate the CIP system for cleaning Tanks and Lines.
- Disassemble and assemble Separator, Presses, Pumps, Valves, and any equipment associated with the operation for inspection and cleaning.
- Take sanitary samples in a timely manner as required or needed.
- Keep your work area clean at all times. Store buckets, brushes, etc. properly.
- Follow GMP’s as required by FDA, USDA, State, and company policy to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
- Follow all safety rules, regulations, and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Related experience preferred
- Knowledge in the operation of control room systems and evaporation equipment preferred
- Must be mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot equipment
OTHER REQUIREMENTS Perform other related duties as required by supervision.
