Job Summary: 

The Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) shall facilitate services,evaluation, and consultation for those students with vision impairment whoqualify (or may qualify) for IDEA Part B Special Education services.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Washington State Teacher certificate with Special Education endorsement 
• Previous experience working with students bothas a TVI required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Basic Knowledge of IDEA Part C and IDEA Part B
• Experience and/or training with cultural, ethnic, and language diversity preferred
