JOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Program Manager of Seton House, the Group Supervisor is responsible for leading, inspiring and managing staff, the teaming process, and resident safety. The ideal candidate will be highly responsible, energetic, a critical thinker, and collaborative, have a huge passion for developing teams, managing systems, and ensure an efficient and effective environment for the staff, and residents.

6. Assist in the healing process by developing appropriate RICH® (Respect, Information, Connection and Hope) relationships with those served.
7. Support Maryvale’s Performance and Quality Improvement Plan and participate in discussion regarding department or program goals, data collection and/or analysis.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Ability to effectively lead, manage, train, and motivate Resident Advisor staff of differing levels.
- Lead Seton House program strategy, including daily, high-level program structure, implementation, and teaming.
- Participate in and lead team meetings and resident house meetings.
- Ensure resident safety and program compliance.
- Ensure area of responsibility follows all Maryvale policies and procedures related to scheduling, staffing, programing and treatment, safety, data collection/outcome measures and overall compliance.
- Follow and lead progressive discipline practices; hire staff, train staff, set expectations and appropriate boundaries, complete employee evaluations, actions plans, discipline procedures.
- Organize staff work schedule to maximize time utilization, structure and programing within required ratios. Manage overtime, overnight and relief scheduling.
- Develop, lead and ensure a safe and productive environment that promotes treatment is provided to the residents.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2-years of college in behavioral health or related field, experience accepted in lieu of education.
- 3-years’ experience as a supervisor working with those suffering from homelessness and/or housing insecurities; or experience in a similar residential setting or with a similar resident population.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, and implement structure and programing.
- Demonstrated management and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal skills are required to collaborate with administrative and professional personnel, to communicate with people of diverse backgrounds and education, and to train others.
- Analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.

401(k) Pension Plan - Associates are eligible to enroll in the 401(k) Retirement Plan on the first day of the month after their hire date.
- Match of Employee Contributions: After completing one year of service, Maryvale will match 100% of an Associate’s salary deferral up to a maximum of the first 3% (1%-3%). In addition, Maryvale will match 66% of an Associate’s salary deferral up to a maximum of the next 3% (3%-6%).
- Non-Elective Contribution: After an Associate completes one full year of service, Maryvale on the Associate’s behalf, will begin making a fixed non-elective contribution equal to 3% of the Associate’s income. This contribution is separate from the matching contribution and vests over a 5 year period.
