MARYVILLE CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT is Hiring a Bus Attendant Near Maryville, TN
Purpose StatementThe position of Bus Attendant (Special Education) was established for the purpose of providing support to the bus driver with specific responsibility for assisting in the supervision of special needs students, severely special needs students; observing and documenting student progress; and assisting students by providing for special health care needs.
This position reports to the Director of Transportation.
Essential Functions
ResponsibilityResponsibilities include: working with the driver, parent, and student to ensure each student is transported safely and ready to engage at school.

This position reports to the Director of Transportation.
Essential Functions
- Assists students in loading and unloading on the bus to the proper places safely.
- Attends meetings and in-service presentations as needed (e.g. first aid, CPR, emergency procedures, behavior management, CPI training, IEPs, etc.) for the purpose of acquiring and/or conveying information relative to job functions.
