MashPoint is Hiring a Customer Service Associate-2nd Shift Near Springdale, AR

Job Title: Customer Service Associate

Duration: 6 months (Possible extension)

Location: Springdale, AR 72764 (Onsite)

Pay: $22/hour (W2)

Shift: Sun-Tues, every other Saturday, 8:00 PM 8:00 AM

Summary: The Customer Service Associate (CSA) is primarily responsible for managing relationships between carriers, customers, and sales groups for their assigned accounts. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the customer's organization, product needs, processes, and procedures. The CSA partners with the Sales team to deliver exceptional customer service to all accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact between the Supply Chain and assigned external customers.
  • Handle all aspects of the customer relationship, including analyzing incoming emails and determining prompt resolutions.
  • Establish and maintain positive, effective relationships with key internal contacts.
  • Utilize several dispatch systems (TES, LME, FOUR KITES, OTR) and external scheduling systems (RETAILIX, RETAIL LINK, UNFI, ONE NETWORK, etc.) to problem-solve for all business units.
  • Maintain knowledge of internal policies, procedures, and software applications.
  • Stay informed about external customers' organizational structures, procedures, and other pertinent information.
  • Use available resources to identify the most cost-effective solutions to service the needs of Foods and their customers.
  • Identify and implement creative solutions to resolve issues that negatively impact any aspect of the delivery process, positively representing the relationship with customers and ensuring accurate product delivery.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in transportation or logistics.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of business experience in transportation or logistics (not just regular customer service).
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency with MS Office applications is required; the majority of business is conducted via email, possibly exceeding 300 emails per day.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
  • Additional Skills: Conflict management, multi-tasking, positive attitude, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
