Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team at US Tsubaki in Holyoke, MA. The CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to ensure efficient production of parts according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up CNC machines (lathe, milling machines, etc.) to perform various machining operations according to blueprint specifications.
- Load raw materials into the machine and unload finished parts, ensuring that all products meet quality standards.
- Monitor machine operations to detect any issues or malfunctions; make adjustments as necessary to ensure smooth production flow.
- Inspect machined parts to verify conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
- Maintain cleanliness of machines and work area, and perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in CNC machining is preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity for lifting and moving materials as needed.
- Knowledge of CNC programming and troubleshooting is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.23 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

- Monday to Friday
