Position: Varsity Wrestling Coach

Location: Mason Senior High School

Reports to: High School Athletic Director

Summary: Mason Consolidated Schools is currently seeking applicants for the position

of Varsity Wrestling Coach for the 2024-2025 wrestling season. MCS is a

small, rural district located near Lake Erie in the southernmost part of

Michigan just off I-75. We are known as a welcoming and friendly district,

one that is fully committed to student success and consistent growth.

Required Qualification:

• Must be 21 years of age

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous wrestling coaching experience at the high school level

• Previous playing experience at the high school or college level

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Must demonstrate patience and attention to detail

• Demonstrated ability to work with students and parents

• Serve as a positive role model to the players and parents

• Willingness to learn and follow district and MHSAA rules and guidelines

Mason Consolidated Schools contracts with a third party, EDUStaff, to provide coaches.

All chosen candidates must comply with the hiring procedures required by EDUStaff.

Coaches are hired as employees of EDUStaff, not the District.

Criminal History: All Employees of the Mason Consolidated School District are fingerprinted

for a Michigan and FBI criminal history check. The processing fee is the

responsibility of the employee.
