As a Pharmacy Logistics Supervisor, you will carry out our Mission of Love by transporting medication to contracted facilities that Masonic Homes Pharmacy services, in a timely fashion.
Our Pharmacy Logistics Supervisor is responsible for the following:

• Timely and accurate delivery of medications to long term care facilities or resident's homes.
• Ability to log deliveries and return accompanying documents as appropriate.
• Assistance in packing orders as appropriate.
• Final delivery verification.
• Alerting MV maintenance mechanic services of vehicle maintenance issues.
• Knowledge of clean and dirty equipment requirements.
• Respects the privacy, confidentiality and security of resident information and property.
• Accesses only the minimum amount of resident protected health information needed to perform their job/role well.
• Drives responsibly with seat belt on at ALL times
• Neat/clean in appearance with good visual acuity.
• Coordinate and complete the schedule for all drivers on all routes. This includes working with any outside courier services that may be used if not all driver positions are filled.
• Optimize the routes so facilities receive their medications in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Coordinate with other Masonic Village Departments (IT, Marketing, Corporate) when they need special items and/or paperwork to be delivered to any of our customers.
• Manage and work with available drivers to insure that all deliveries are covered, even if it means you to do the delivery yourself.
• Be available to drive when the business overwhelms the existing drivers, especially for local runs involving Masonic Village residents in Elizabethtown.
• Coordinate any STAT runs that are needed by facilities, which may cause the're-routing' of drivers.
• Meet with existing customers on a regular basis to understand their needs for delivery timeliness. Make sure they understand that they can contact you directly to address any concerns in relation to driver interactions with Nurses, etc.
• Be responsible for hiring new drivers as necessary by screening and interviewing possible candidates. Also, when new drivers are hired, make sure they are trained properly and have shadowed other drivers before being put on the regular schedule. This includes regular meetings 3-4 times yearly.
• Be responsible for any driver personnel issues by completing verbal and/or written counseling sessions and corrective action notices as needed. Additionally responsibility for their PAC reviews.
• Be available to resolve issues and situations via text and/or phone call on nights and weekends for driver support when they are doing their deliveries.
• Work closely with the Fleet Manager to insure all vehicles are registered, inspected and in good working order.
• Facilitate all repairs and necessary vehicle care while making sure there are enough drivable vehicles on a regular basis.
• Develop systems, with assistance of Pharmacy Manager, to computerize routes, tracking of vehicles, POD (proof of delivery), and Chain of Custody of all deliveries.
• Meet frequently with Pharmacy Manger to review any concerns, updates or changes in routing.

What You Have:

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Technical advanced vocational training or education in logistics preferred.
• Valid PA driver's license.
• Six months to one year driving experience helpful, but not required.
