IBP Solutions US, LLC dba Masonite Architectural currently operates as a standalone entity. The Regional HR Generalist performs human resources related duties at the professional level for multiple locations and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations, training, employment, labor relations, affirmative action and employment equity programs. Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations. Conducts exit interviews and analyzes data, making recommendations to the management team for corrective and continuous improvement. Responds to employee relations issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations and civil rights complaints. Represents the company for unemployment claims. Facilitates and/or provides training (including orientation) to the workforce. Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs. Interviews, screens and recruits job applicants to fill entry level, professional, management, and technical job openings. Coordinates all employment procedures and conducts new hire orientation Works with leadership in coaching and developing the management team Contribute to team effectiveness by assisting in other areas as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred. 3 to 5 experience in Human Resources Management as a Generalist in a manufacturing environment Ability to objectively coach employees and management through issues that may be complex, difficult and emotional. Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations or government law.
