**The Opportunity**

As the Marketing Program Delivery Consultant within the MassMutual Strategic Distributors (MMSD) Marketing Strategy team, you will be responsible for executing marketing programs spanning all MMSDs product lines, life insurance, disability income insurance, hybrid long-term care and annuity businesses. These products are sold through unaffiliated third-party advisors and brokers. MassMutual has a solid base of third-party distribution relationships and is making aggressive, intentional investments to expand their advisor base and be a key player in this market.

More specifically, you will, in partnership with MMSD Strategy Program lead and Channel Marketing Strategy leads, deliver cross-MMSD marketing programs that reach third-party target audiences and generate results in support of the channels business goals and growth targets. This will be achieved by working with Marketing centers-of-excellence (COE), product subject matter experts (SME) and MMSD distribution teams.

**The Team**

The MMSD Marketing Strategy team is newly formed and resides within the MassMutual Marketing & Brand organization. The goal of the team is to develop strategic marketing plans that support and deliver upon the business goals of MMSD Distribution. MMSD Distribution is comprised of two lines of business; Life Insurance & Disability Income Insurance and Hybrid Life Insurance-Long Term Care & Annuity. This position is the marketing program delivery consultant responsible for executing marketing programs and campaigns that span both lines of business.

**The Impact:**

* Lead development and delivery of always-on paid and organic digital and social promotions, including social media distribution platform supporting MMSD sales and relationship managers

* Participate in evolution of the MMSD value proposition to more differentiated, ownable marketplace position and development of supporting awareness campaign

* Drive implementation of cross-MMSD programs, including webinar series, podcast series, continuing education program, firm onboarding campaigns and producer loyalty programs

* Responsible for routine updates and maintenance of MMSD website and digital platforms, including digital hub, authenticated portal, and firm-specific microsites

* Oversee development of monthly MMSD marketing scorecard, partnering with MMSD Channel Marketing team and Insights & Analytics COE (within Marketing and Brand team)

* Work with MM creative team or other outside agencies, developing creative briefs, providing creative direction, feedback and ensuring output is on strategy and aligns with the MM and MMSD brand guidelines

* Participate in the development of program goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of marketing programs

**The Minimum Qualifications**

* Bachelors Degree or relevant work experience in lieu of degree

* 5 years of experience in financial services marketing and/or strategy

* 3 years of experience working with life insurance, disability income insurance, long-term care, and annuity products, including sales concepts, competitive landscape, customer challenges and industry/regulatory trends

* Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams and leveraging COE partners to deliver marketing programs that drive results

* Collaborative individual who can effectively interact and engage partners within a matrixed team structure

* Proven success managing multiple priorities using strong project management skills, attention to detail, leadership, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment

* Demonstrated ability to synthesize data and insights to provide clear direction for strategic planning and marketing briefs

* Demonstrated ability to impact and influence peers

* Outstanding verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills

**Ideal Requirements:**

* Solid understanding of the B2B2C intermediated sales process, ideally through unaffiliated insurance-based advisors, securities-based advisors, independent broker dealers, and RIAs

**Transcript**I joined Mass Mutual because I was really impressed with some of the conversations I had with some of the leaders in some of the projects that were being worked on at the time. They seemed very forward-thinking, very innovative, and then also, you know, there was definitely an appetite to experiment, to make investments in, in ways and learn along the way.
