The Schneider Laboratory is excited to announce a compelling opportunity for an exceptionally motivated and impeccably organizedwet labresearch technician.Inthisrole,youwillplayapivotalpartinsupportingthe multifaceted research endeavors of Dr. Jaime L. Schneider, M.D., Ph.D., focusing on cell biology and its application in lung cancer research.
UndertheexpertguidanceofDr.Schneider,yourresponsibilitieswillspanawiderangeofcriticalfunctions, each contributing to the advancement of our understanding of lung cancer and the development of potential treatments. As part of your role, you will engage in the following key activities: Tissue Culture, Proteomics Assays,Cell ViabilityStudies,MolecularBiologyTechniques,GeneExpressionAnalysis,Metabolomics, Animal (mouse) Studies, Intratracheal Injections, Immunohistochemistry, and Imaging Analysis.
You will maintain a dynamic schedule, spending time at Harvard Medical School in wet lab space and at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) each week. This dual placement will provide you with a well-rounded research experience and expose you to diverse perspectivesandmethodologies.Youwillalsoactivelyparticipatein labmeetingsinbothgroups,fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
