Job Description

PROJECT MANAGER , Facilities-Operations , to beresponsible for managing small- to mid-size projects from inception to closeout for the Repair and Maintenance group, meeting budgets and deliverable schedules. Will also be responsible for planning and executing capital renewalmajor repair orders (MRO)and for performing related duties as assigned. Typical project scope ranges from $10,000 to $1,000,000.
Job Requirements

REQUIRED : bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering; a minimum of five years of related experience, including experience managing multiple small- to mid-size and moderately complex design and construction projects with a typical project scope of $10,000 to $1,000,000; experience organizing and analyzing data utilizing planning- and design-related software packages and desktop PC computer applications; ability to resolve and/or recognize when to escalate issues, listen to other opinions, and incorporate those ideas into the work plan; experience with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems; knowledge and understanding of relevant Massachusetts' building codes/regulations; excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills; and the ability to give presentations, prepare written business reports, and negotiate and form alliances.
