REQUIRED : bachelor's degree in a related field; three years’ communications experience; experience writing, researching, and conducting interviews for communications ranging from press releases and magazine stories to blog posts and social media; excellent organizational and oral and written communication skills; meticulous attention to detail; proficiency with modern publishing and web-based communication methods/tools; experience managing websites using a content management system and social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube); and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including lnDesign, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop. Must be able to meet multiple deadlines; work collaboratively and independently; copyedit for grammar, spelling, accuracy, format, and tone; and translate complex concepts/projects into clear, compelling materials suitable for a general audience. PREFERRED : experience in a college/university setting; experience with design, photography, and/or video/television production; and MIT experience. Job #24212-7Salary range: $64,000 - 85,000/annually based on experience and internal equity
There is a hybrid schedule for this position with three days/week in the office. Some evening and/or weekend work will also be required on occasion.
