FRONT DESK AREA
Uphold the Massage Envy brand core company values of Optimism, Gratitude, Excellence, Consistency and Empathy
Sell wellness plans, 3 and 5 month service packs, enhancements and re-book appointments
Answer incoming phone calls within three rings with the approved Massage Envy greeting
Pleasantly greet lobby visitors and team members needing front desk assistance
Promptly check members and guests in and out for appointments
Assist members/guests efficiently, courteously and professionally at all times
Have full knowledge of clinic safety and emergency procedures
Assist the General Manager and Assistant Manager in preparations for BEST and board(s) visits
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Ability to interact with others in an honest, fair and respectful way; giving others confidence in you and the organization
Promptly and effectively deal with member/guest concerns or issues and see all are met to satisfaction in a timely manner
Be knowledgeable of the Massage Envy brand, body care services, skincare services, service enhancements, retail products, wellness plan, services packages and all special promotions
Promote the Wellness Program when opportunities are presented
Re-engage inactive members to commit to accrued wellness benefits
Keep management apprised of member concerns and follow manager’s policies, procedures and direction
Accept constructive criticism in a positive manner and use it as a learning tool
Recognize and support team goals and create and maintain positive relationships with team members
It is required that you follow all Massage Envy policies and protocols as outlined in Massage Envy Standards of Practice
Display a friendly and helpful attitude
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding member/guest and staff
Complete Confirmation calls (SNAPSMS), EFT calls, and daily suspends
Responsible for opening and closing the clinic on time
MANAGING FUNDS
Handle any and all transactions including but not limited to: credit cards and gift cards
Handle transactions carefully, attentively and accurately. Verify the authenticity of credit cards and Egift cards, recognize when they are suspect, and take action to confirm their value before completing
any transactions
Reconcile daily summaries of transactions and balance all credit card utilizing Meevo Software, log all communication effectively in Basecamp
MASSAGE ENVY CLINIC
Be on time for your shift
Work varying shifts based on business needs including holidays and weekends
Maintain professional appearance at all times, according to the dress code policy in the Hawkins’ Employee Handbook
Hourly clinic walk through (cleaning and stocking bathrooms, picking up trash in common areas etc.)
Assist in the cleanliness of the location, including but not limited to, laundry duty, trash removal and common areas IE; Break Room, Bathrooms and Tranquility Room, by utilizing the clinic cleaning checklists for day/night. Follow the Infection Control and Prevention Protocol and Policy set by Massage Envy Corporate
Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the clinic
Follow all state and local agency guidelines, to ensure the clinic remains in compliance
Report lost and found items to Assistant/General Manager immediately
