Massage Therapist (Massage Heights Encinitas) full-time or part-time, must be able to work a variety of shifts. Looking for those unique therapists that are looking for a place to work at one of two great locations or both, spacious facility, with a team of people that enjoy working with each other.

We are looking for a variety of shifts. Can be 9am - 3pm, or 3pm, - 9pm. One shift must be on a weekend day. A variety of different shifts are available. You must be able to work at least 24 hours/week overall.

We also provide a $500 signing bonus that is paid out in two separate payments for those of you with experience in working in a spa environment.

Compensation: Base Compensation, plus Bonus Commission and Dental/Vision Base pay for sessions, then extras for requests, services, and retail, plus your tips.

Our therapists will typically earn $35 - $50 per service hour (including average tips) based on their experience and efforts. Some of our experienced therapist have recently received $100 tips from our guests just based on our Irvine location and typical guest.

We also provide subsidized Medical Insurance. If you are interested in getting additional benefits such as medical insurance, dental, or vision, or other accident or catastrophic illness coverage - we have it. You will need to work a minimum of 25 - 30 hours/week to qualify. But, let us know your availability and we can tailor a program that meets your needs.

Key Considerations:

• Typical schedule is 24 – 32 hours per week.
• Must have 500 hours of MT training from an accredited massage school.
• Having an active CAMTC license is preferred, but not required, and Liability Insurance
• Design your own breaks. We want you to work to your capability

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide excellent Guest service. Able to perform in 50, 80, and 110 minute sessions.
• Comfortable with both Swedish, Deep Tissue. Willing to do pre-natal and sports massage as needed, customized with Massage Heights training.
• Educate Guests on services, products and programs available to meet their needs.
• Link therapeutic products to your service to enhance the Guest’s experience at home.
• Participate in many corporate off-site chair or race events in the Irvine area.
• Create and maintain positive relationships with Guests and Team Members.
• Build that relationship with our guests and be requested often.
• Be open and willing to work a variety of shifts and hours. (A mix of weekday and weekend)

Qualifications and Skills

• Comply with local and state licensing laws and regulations, but MBLEx is not currently required.
• Be Guest service oriented and communicate effectively with Guests.
• Capable of at least deep tissue, Swedish and maternity massage modalities
• Be a team player, work an established work schedule, reliable and prompt
• Believe in regular massage therapy as part of a healthy lifestyle
