Distribution Change Manager (DCM) - Distribution Platforms and ReadinessBrand, Product & Affiliated DistributionFull-Time/Hybrid, Springfield or BostonThe OpportunityThe Distribution Change Manager (DCM) is a key field facing role within the Distribution Change Readiness organization. As a Distribution Change Manager, you are a regionally assigned wholesale change-excellence manager who collaborates directly with field leadership to ensure they are prepared to lead their firms through change.
The TeamAs part of Brand, Product and Affiliated Distribution, the Distribution Change Readiness team is responsible for driving strategy and execution related to technology, governance, reporting, readiness and change management to support MassMutual’s product, marketing and career distribution organizations. The Impact
  • Collaborate directly with RVPs, field leadership and other firm stakeholders to ensure the necessary readiness tools and resources are effectively deployed in firms.
  • Partners with MMFA General Agents and leadership teams to become trusted consultant and advisor for change management needs.
  • Liaison between field leadership and appropriate Home Office Distribution Change Leaders to support change management and readiness at the firm level.
  • Drives the collaborative development and execution of a holistic and integrated change management plan as it relates to respective region.
  • Understands the current considerations, needs and priorities of field leadership to deliver solutions in an approach that optimizes adoption/understanding and delivers the intended value.
  • Knowledgeable on all initiatives within their assigned region; how they drive/support the business’ strategy, and how they interrelate to other active initiatives.
  • Consults on field change readiness execution, escalates issues, works collaboratively with Distribution Readiness Leads to ensure a successful deployment of change initiatives.
  • Represents on initiatives impacting regions in readiness discussions to identify potential overlaps or gaps, Also, participate on and provides thought leadership as a member of the Distribution Change Readiness organization.
  • Lead ad-hoc project assignments.
The Minimum Qualifications
  • 5 years' of experience coordinating projects, managing relationships & interacting with all levels of leadership
  • 3 years’ experience financial services or Insurance industry experience.
  • 1 year of experience delivering presentations & public speaking.
The Ideal Qualifications
  • Experience working directly with MassMutual General agents/financial advisors or experience in financial services distribution.
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
  • Executive presence with ability to quickly build rapport and cultivate relationships; high-level of emotional intelligence
  • Strong presentation skills; track record of developing and delivering high- impact presentations; effective public speaking
  • Experience partnering in cross-functional environments.
  • 5 years of project management experience
  • Comfort interacting with all levels of leadership.
  • Experience using the ADKAR Model for Change Management.
  • Additional critical competencies include: Demonstrating agility & Creative thinking and complex problem-solving
