Job Summary

The Training Manager is responsible for managing the people, projects, and programs associated with all training and development programs. This position works with personnel across all departments. 

• Prioritize and execute training programs and courses.
• Manage performance of Training Specialists and Training Associates.
• Hold all team members accountable for their performance, delegation, and prioritization of work assignments.
• Manage and coordinate Operator Qualification (OQ) and Apprenticeship programs
• Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

Minimum

• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, similar field of study, or relevant field experience.
• 3 years of related experience.
• Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less.
• Ability to operate office equipment.

Preferred

• 5 or more years of employee training experience, including experience in a supervisory role.
• Previous experience with a Learning Management System.
• Previous experience in a construction/utility field.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and scanners. 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. This position is primarily sedentary, with some filing or lifting required. Must be able to bend and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
