POSITION SUMMARY

Our Service Inspectors meet with customers to maintain and / or service systems previously installed by our company. Service Inspectors recommend and design solutions for new issues that have arisen at customers' homes.

Service Inspectors also support the company's management, purpose, mission, and values.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Drives company van to customers' homes for pre-scheduled appointments to perform annual maintenance on an existing system or follow-up on warranty issues.
• Builds rapport with the customer. Recommends additional products and services to enhance or improve the original installation or remedy a new issue that has arisen in the customer's home.

Timely completes all paperwork / data entry and follow-up communication required for the appointment.

• When installing a product for a customer, follows all job specifications, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
• Follows through with customers until all issues are resolved.
• Provides customers with a remarkable experience.
• Meets or exceeds his / her projected goals.
• Attends the weekly service meeting and other required meetings.
• Is an ambassador for the company's culture and purpose.
• Drives for the company in a safe manner.
• Regular, reliable on-site attendance.

NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS

• Knowledge of construction or related trades preferred.
• Knowledge of sales and customer service principles and practices preferred.
• Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English.
• Skilled in operating equipment and power tools.
• Skilled in using a personal computer and programs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Have a competitive nature.
• Have a desire to help our customers and deliver excellent customer service.
• Be persuasive, Resilient, and resourceful.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred;
• A valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
