Custodian - Novi City Hall

Summary: Responsible for carrying out light and heavy cleaning tasks for buildings in an office building. This role will support the following locations: Novi City Hall.

Available shift: Monday - Friday 7PM - 1AM (30 hours per week)

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Essential Job Functions:

• Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors
• Clean and disinfect equipment
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created
• Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces
• Remove garbage and recycling
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
• Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean
• Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants
• Identify and report possible repairs
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Experience:

• Custodial Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
