Overview

The Senior Learning & Development Partner is entrusted with the tactical oversight of designing, planning, and implementing comprehensive learning programs across MasterCorp. This role involves advanced responsibilities including coordinating and enhancing training initiatives that drive operational effectiveness and support the organization’s rapid expansion. The Senior Partner not only ensures consistent application and compliance of training programs but also elevates these initiatives by integrating measurable results and strategic insight into learning processes. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Learning and Development, this position is pivotal in fostering leadership development, optimizing learning technologies, and achieving significant outcomes that align with corporate objectives.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, HR or related field, or equal years of relatable experience
  • 2-3 years supporting an HR, or Learning and Development function with a focus on training design and delivery

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excel in optimizing resources across multiple projects, demonstrating financial acumen in budget management and cost optimization without sacrificing quality.
  • Skilled in conducting engaging and effective virtual and in-person facilitation sessions.
  • Possesses a clear understanding of adult learning principles and applies them effectively to enhance learner engagement and retention in training sessions.
  • Proven ability to guide, coach and develop cross functional peers and produce learning based KPIs for points of measurement.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and influence across business lines.
  • Experience in hospitality operations, policies, and procedures preferred.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Spanish or Creole
  • Knowledge of adult learning principle, presentation skills and demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Shown ability to solve problems within scope of responsibility in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exhibited ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to manage one’s own schedule and time effectively & efficiently.
  • Ability to make decisions that prioritize business objectives.
  • Proficient in designing learning materials in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Leadership Development & Coaching: Coach site leaders to assist them in creating operational action plans, aiming to enhance learning effectiveness at their sites. This proactive approach involves providing guidance and support to ensure that leaders can effectively implement, sustain, and enhance training outcomes over time.
  • Administrative Proficiency – Manage training schedules, coordinate logistics, expense approval and support the administrative aspects of training programs to ensure smooth operation and delivery.
  • Leadership Coaching – Provide coaching and guidance to site leaders, ensuring the effective application of
  • Critical Thinking– Employ critical analysis and logical reasoning to evaluate complex situations and solve high-impact problems, ensuring decisions support strategic objectives.
  • Self-Orientation – Demonstrate a high degree of self-management and initiative, effectively prioritizing and executing tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Training Program Coordination: Coordinate and manage administrative aspects of training sessions, including scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and Develop: Act as a leader/coach to cross functional business peers and learning and development peers in the execution of training design, facilitations and materials.
  • Advanced Needs Assessment and Strategic Learning Planning: Conduct in-depth assessments to determine sophisticated training and development needs at individual, team, and organizational levels. Use advanced data analytics to inform strategic learning initiatives and ensure they meet the evolving demands of the business.
  • Training Effectiveness and Strategic Compliance Oversight: Oversee comprehensive audits of learning processes across various locations, ensuring strict adherence to MasterCorp’s standards and regulatory compliance. Report on key performance indicators and certification metrics to the executive management regularly
  • Stakeholder Communication and Development Opportunities: Act as a training partner to site and operational leaders, assessing training needs, communicating appropriate solutions, and recommending development opportunities to enhance site management capabilities.
  • Support for Training Programs and Content Innovation: Provide ongoing support for existing training programs and lead the development of new training materials and methods that incorporate effective adult learning principles and leverage advanced learning technologies.
