Masterprep Academy is Hiring an ISEE/SSAT Tutor Needed Near Bellevue, WA
Job DescriptionWe are looking to hire an experienced ISEE/SSAT Tutor to provide instruction in providing guidance for our students in preparation for their exam. As an ISEE/SSAT Tutor you would work 1:1 with our students to assist on all sections of the exam.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Job Type: Part-Time
Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field from an accredited college or university (required)
- Master's degree in Education, English, or a related field from an accredited college or university (preferred)
- 2 years experience as an ISEE/SSAT instructor or tutor (required)
- Successful track record of helping students with their ISEE/SSAT Exams
- Professional communication skills (both spoken and written)
- Competent in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Able to work independently and collaborate with a team
- Enthusiastic about working with students and parents
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality
- Highly organized and detail-oriented (attention to detail and accuracy is imperative)
- Ability to meet schedules and deadlines
- Good judgment and decision-making abilities
- Good problem-solving skills
- Good planning skills
- Highly responsive
- Highly proactive
- Highly reliable
- Integrity
- Collaborate with the Director of Curriculum Development to develop lesson plans and curricula as needed
- Prepare students for ISEE/SSAT examinations
- Assess students' needs and provide extra support in any lacking areas
- Provide homework help as needed
- Able to lead a classroom of students effectively and work efficiently with students
- Good classroom management skills
