Masterwork Electronics is Hiring a Vice President of Business Development & Sales Near San Diego, CA

Job Description

· Create and drive new business opportunities in line with overall organization strategy. 

· Develop strategies to screen, oversee, manage, and drive RFI, RFP, RFQ responses and proposals to deliver cost effective solutions, exceed customer expectations, and provide value propositions.

· Recognize the strength and capabilities of MEI to develop proactive solutions or answer to proposal which differentiates MEI and enables organic growth. 

· Knows the customer’s organization, products, market position, and goals, sourcing strategy, suppliers, manufacturing locations, opposition and future directions. 

· Establishes and develops customer relationships to position MEI for long term growth, establishes effective communication process with Account Manager and execution teams to ensure clearly defined customer expectations and contractual obligations. 

· Research and knows customers’ business strategy, future product plans, and expansion activities. 

· Generate new business and act as focal point in presenting, selling and delivering MEI solutions which include manufacturing, supply chain/logistics, services and reverse logistics. 

· Aware of strategic fit between customers’ needs and MEI capabilities, in alignment with MEI business growth strategy. 

· Account planning, proactive proposals, relationships development, quoting intelligence and proposals development and manage customer meetings. 

· Negotiate contracts, deals and service agreements with customers. 

Qualifications

· Candidate must 15 years’ experience in EMS with focus on Business Development 

· Master’s degree in engineering or MBA preferred 

· Ability to work with internal teams and executive management as well as external customers to maximize mutual benefit. 

· Understanding of key financial metrics and capability to read P&L, balance sheets, Cash flow, taking actions to meet customers’ needs and MEI targets. 

· Demonstrates advanced functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills 

· Customer Relationship and Account management experience required.
