JOB DESCRIPTION
This role will establish relationships with landowners and other company landmen to obtain leases and other agreements, work with interdisciplinary asset teams to manage the drill schedule and green light wells, review and negotiate contracts and review title opinions and chain of title documents.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities
- Acquire and facilitate the acquisition of oil and gas leases.
- Negotiate, draft and provide advice on various land agreements including leases, operating agreements, farmouts, purchase and sale agreements and other land-related documents.
- Work with asset teams in making strategic business decisions related to oil and gas exploration and production.
- Interact with federal and state agencies on oil and gas regulatory issues.
- Manage land, lease and contract data requiring use of specialized software.
- Negotiate and deal with partners and landowners.
- Manage field landmen checking records in county and parish courthouses/abstract plants.
- Work with curative team to cure title for leases, the drilling of wells, and for producing wells.
Education and Experience
- Four-year college degree with a preferred background in business focusing on energy management or energy commerce.
