We are seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to join our team. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail and a strong work ethic. If you have a passion for landscaping and enjoy working outdoors, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, trimming, and weeding
- Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Irrigate lawns and gardens as needed
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete various tasks
- Clean and maintain outdoor areas, including sidewalks, parking lots, and common areas
- Assist with the setup and takedown of outdoor events
- Ensure that all equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and stored
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related field preferred
- Knowledge of various plants, flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and their operation
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management skills
