Summary

Manages all aspects of facility and equipment maintenance. General maintenance activities and skilled tasks on a variety of facilities and building equipment, structures, systems, and hardware. Repairs and maintains hydraulic, and electrical components of production machines, such as CNC (HAAS) machines, material handling systems and production support equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Employee must monitor all aspect of facility maintenance and machine or equipment maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical schematics to facilitate equipment repair
• Assist in the installation of new manufacturing equipment and relocate existing equipment as required
• Performs preventative inspections and maintenance on manufacturing machines, equipment, and plant safety
• Perform welding, cutting, brazing operations
• Make plant installations and repairs involving plumbing
• Familiar with OSHA standards, lock out/tag out, machine guarding, processing acids and other chemicals etc.
• Maintain safety data sheets to ensure current
• Assist with PPE inspections and inform management which items need to be repaired, replaced, or purchased

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferable manufacturing environment
• High school diploma
• Trade school and/or College degree
• Requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in this field and/or equivalent
