Maternity Care Coalition (MCC) Early Head Start Program is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Spanish Speaking Case Manager (Advocate) to join our Norristown, PA team.

As part of our Early Head Start Bilingual Case Management (Advocate) team, you'll have the opportunity to leverage your Spanish proficiency to break down language barriers and bridge the communication divide between our clients and their communities. Your ability to effectively communicate in both languages will be essential in providing comprehensive support to the families we serve, ensuring they receive the services and resources they need to thrive.

As an Early Head Start Case Manager (Advocate) at MCC, you will play a pivotal role in providing early learning-focused and curriculum-based home visits to pregnant women and parents of infants and toddlers. The services you will provide may include providing encouragement, guidance, direct services, identifying client needs and goals around health, education, child development and social services and supporting clients to access needed services.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct curriculum-based home visits to pregnant women and families with infants and toddlers
• Provide education sessions and resources to meet developmental, health, social, and educational needs
• Connect families to resources and social services networks
• Conduct client assessments and collaborate on goal-setting
• Coordinate health and education-related appointments
• Facilitate client meetings and community outreach events
• Participate in outreach efforts to raise awareness and promote education

Requirements:

• Bilingual language skills (Spanish/English)
• AA/AAS in ECE, Social Services, or related field, or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Knowledge and experience in child development, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and early childhood education
• Experience with community health issues

Preferred Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in a related field of study
• 2 years of experience providing direct services in a community outreach setting
• Experience working with maternal and child health issues
• Experience with positive parent-child interactions or Early Head Start programs
