TheASU Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper predictive,preventative and corrective maintenance of mechanical, electromechanical,pneumatic, structural and piping systems is performed as necessary to achievethe safe, reliable and efficient operation of the air separation plants.

TheMaintenance Technician may also be required to perform the duties of a PlantOperator as needed to cover vacations, sick time, etc.

HighSchool Diploma and a 2year Technical Degree or equivalent industry experience Minimum4 years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.

Experience with compressors (centrifugal, reciprocating, screw), pumps, valvesand expanders desired. Proficient in the safe operation of general hand andpower tools.

Welding skills a plus. Proficient in the use of precisionmeasuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, feeler gauges, dialindicators and torque wrenches.

Strong mechanical aptitude and basic pipefitting skills. Ability to read and interpret process diagrams, wiringschematics, technical drawings and equipment manuals.

Ability to utilize theseskills to trouble shoot and evaluate equipment malfunctions and determineappropriate corrective action.

Basic knowledge of electricity, motors andelectrical systems. The ability to use a digital multimeter in troubleshootinglow voltage systems.

Good verbal and written communication skills. Basicproficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point.

Experience with the implementation and administration of ComputerizedMaintenance Management Systems (CMMS).Valid Driver’s License and Clean DrivingRecord.
