EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED: Under the direct supervision of the IT Asset Manager, the Inventory Control Technician is responsible for organizing storage areas, restocking inventory, tracking, cycle counting and deployment of inventory items. The role is responsible for maintaining an adequate supply of parts and supplies. Duties include management of inventory as it relates to picking products, replenishing, requisitioning, and managing client expectations to ensure high quality of service to the specific KPI metrics. Responsible for pulling products for work orders as assigned. The Inventory technician assures that supply areas are organized, maintained, and stock levels are optimized to support demands. Perform any other duties as directed by management
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in business, logistics, or related field preferred; Proficient in Microsoft Office; Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or related field, preferred. Must have advanced/proficient/writing skills for composing audits, reports, and advisories; Excellent organizational and time-management skills; Working knowledge of word processor, database, and spreadsheet software; Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Driver’s license required with no more than 2 traffic violations or 1 chargeable accident within the past three years. Knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
Heavy Work:Lifting up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
Work Environment:Indoor climate-controlled environment.
