NPI Operations Program Manager - PRQ & AC - WatchThe New Product Introduction Operations Program Manager (NPI OPM) team plays a key role in launching new products on time with superior quality and maximum customer availability. The NPI OPM - Post Ramp Qualification & Customer Care (PRQ & CC) plays a pivotal role in managing hardware changes post-launch. A successful NPI OPM is a leader and facilitator; is dynamic, driven, organized and detail-oriented; excels in program/project management; communicates with ease at all levels; thrives in an ambiguous environment and is adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts. Furthermore, this role leads within worldwide Operations and collaborates with the core product development teams and other functional organizations within the company. This is a 11-month contract role that will be hybrid in Cupertino, CA with a pay range of $88-$92.20/hr. Key Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional teams and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) operations teams to plan, execute, and report the status of PRQ projects.
Work with OEMs to plan PRQ qualification builds, secure materials, ensure line readiness, and monitor progress of PRQ builds.
Manage component readiness to ensure part availability, quality, and cost.
Plan and seek approval for PRQ budgets.
Communicate requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with supply chain teams.
Program manage key issues, assess associated risks, and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization. Report status and options for resolution to cross-functional teams and management.
Role Requirements
3 years of experience in manufacturing, project management, process engineering, or product development.
Result-oriented with strong attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present to management.
Technical expertise and prior OEM management experience.
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Supply Chain/Operations, Science, or Engineering. Masters or MBA are considered a plus.
