Role Overview
Kroger is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support a pivotal project. As key stakeholders in this initiative, Kroger is transitioning from a legacy system to a new format, relying heavily on data-driven insights to validate improvements and drive business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Compile and analyze data to formulate business strategies and prioritize project initiatives.
- Conduct gap analysis and process mapping to optimize procedures and workflows.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization, including Kroger's technology team, to ensure project alignment and success.
- Gather and consolidate data from multiple sources to provide cohesive insights.
- Present findings through clear and compelling data visualizations and reports.
Key Skills Required
- Strong SQL Foundation : Proficiency in SQL is essential for data extraction and analysis.
- Power BI : Minimum 2 years of experience in developing robust dashboards and reports, preferably in a professional environment. Samples of previous Power BI work are highly recommended.
- Advanced Excel : Mastery of Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
- Collaboration and Communication : Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team and engage with stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills : Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive meaningful conclusions.
Qualifications
- Experience with process mapping and familiarity with Six Sigma principles (Green Belt certification is advantageous).
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently and manage multiple tasks.
- Organized approach to data analysis and reporting.
