Job Title: IT Security Project Manager
Duration: 12-18 months
Location: Charlotte NC (hybrid onsite)
Required Pay Scale: $73-$80/hr W2

Project Details:

• The default network egress route for Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) is to backhaul back to the data center in order to reach the internet.
• The company is currently experiencing delivery challenges, operational impacts, increased latency, and audit regulations to close identified gaps.
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP) is currently a gap for cloud workloads (Azure and AWS). The inability to scan cloud-based workloads can eventually lead to lost oversight of deprecated workloads in which can lead to potential data leakage.

Scope:

• Cloud Workloads (Servers, Apps, etc.) hosted in Azure and AWS that have an approved business need to connect to external networks including web and email flows
• Reference: CSP Egress Services (Decisioning Tool, Example LoB Use Cases, and Target Architectures).
• Deliver cyber technology that securely allows traffic to egress directly from the cloud.

Must Haves
Required Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within cybersecurity or IT, preferably in the banking or financial services industry. Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver large-scale cybersecurity projects on time and within budget.Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, Scrum) with the ability to apply them effectively in cybersecurity initiatives.
2. Analytical and Organizational Skills: Strong analytical skills with a knack for identifying, articulating, and managing project dependencies and risks. Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
3. Communication and Leadership Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate project goals, dependencies, and risks to both technical teams and senior management. Proven leadership ability to drive action, hold teams accountable, and foster collaboration across various teams.
4. Change Management and Influence: Experience with change management and the ability to lead organizational transitions. Strong confidence and assertiveness to partner with, drive action, and ensure accountability across various teams.
5. Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and cloud security solutions, specifically data loss prevention.
- Experience with risk assessment tools and methodologies.
- Experience with Zscaler, Forcepoint, and/or Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps as well as network DLP and CASB.
Desired Skills
1. Cyber / Information Security Expertise: Broad understanding of data protection (e.g. network DLP), cloud security principles (e.g. CSA CCM), and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 27001). Familiarity with cybersecurity threats, defense mechanisms, and regulatory requirements specific to the banking industry.
2. Degrees or Certifications: Bachelor s degree or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field. Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
3. Strategic and Innovative Thinking: Ability to think strategically about integrating cybersecurity measures into business processes and technologies. Innovative mindset to encourage the adoption of new security technologies and practices.
4. Risk Management Skills: Proficient in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating project risks and clearly communicating these to stakeholders.
