About the Company
The Patient Account Representative is responsible for accurate and appropriate claims billing, accounts receivable follow-up and cash posting for all financial class payers and patients for medical and dental accounts. Patient Account Representatives are required to deliver quality customer service to patients as well as internal organizational customers.
About the Role
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meet/conference regularly with front desk staff for updates of billing and cash posting processes.
- Review and follow up on unpaid claims with insurance companies using system generated reports.
- Post all EFT Transactions in a timely manner.
- Responsible for working closely with Patient Accounts Supervisor in reporting and troubleshooting issues that arise in daily work.
- Participate in process improvement using Lean Management System.
- Maintain good attendance, is punctual and works full scheduled shift is a condition of employment.
- Demonstrate respectful, professional and appropriate behavior that supports a team-oriented work environment.

- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attend staff meetings, in-service meetings and participate in agency committees and task force activities as required.

2-month contract
40 hours a week/Day Shift
Salary : $21 - $24
