Our Milwaukee office is seeking a dynamic and motivated Part-Time Permit Exhibitor to join our team.

Job Summary: As a Part-Time Permit Exhibitor, you will be responsible for managing the permit process for our remodeling projects in the Milwaukee area. You will work closely with our project management team to ensure that all necessary permits are obtained in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with local government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and obtain building permits for residential remodeling projects in accordance with local regulations and ordinances.
  • Review project plans and documentation to ensure compliance with permit requirements.
  • Liaise with city officials, inspectors, and other stakeholders to facilitate the permit approval process.
  • Maintain accurate records of permit applications, approvals, and related correspondence.
  • Monitor permit status and address any issues or delays as they arise.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to provide updates on permit progress and requirements.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks and project support as needed.

Schedule:

  • This is a part-time position, offering flexible hours based on project needs and availability.
  • Some evening and weekend availability may be required for permit-related meetings or events.

Requirements

 Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience with permit management or related administrative work preferred.
  • Familiarity with local building codes, zoning regulations, and permit processes.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and basic computer skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
