Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer with a strong background in Trimble SketchUp and LayOut, as well as experience in residential or commercial building. The ideal candidate will create accurate product drawings for fabrication, assist with light graphic design tasks for social media, flyers, and brochures, and have working knowledge of building practices. The ideal candidate will have a creative eye and strong technical understanding of Trimble SketchUp, LayOut, Adobe CC, and Microsoft Office software, along with experience in graphic design and social media marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create accurate and detailed product drawings for fabrication using Trimble SketchUp and LayOut.

- Develop visually appealing graphics and design layouts for social media, flyers, and brochures.

- Collaborate with the team to develop design concepts and plans for custom metal products.

- Produce detailed and accurate drawings and designs that meet project specifications.

- Incorporate feedback and make revisions to designs as needed.

- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

- Work in a fabrication environment and under pressure to meet project deadlines.

- Maintain high attention to detail and measurement accuracy.

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure designs are current and innovative.

- Utilize experience with CNC machines and pattern layout to enhance product design and fabrication processes.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity.

- Proficiency in Trimble SketchUp and LayOut for developing 3D models and renderings.

- Experience in residential or commercial building design is required.

- Strong understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, and color theory.

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

- Working knowledge of social media marketing and graphic design for various platforms.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Experience with CNC machines and pattern layout is highly desirable.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Qualified Software Proficiency:

- Trimble SketchUp and LayOut

- Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

- Microsoft Office
