We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of our clients’ projects. You will utilize your expertise in project management methodologies, leadership skills, and communication abilities to ensure that projects are completed successfully, meeting stakeholder expectations and organizational goals.
Candidates from a Novice to an Expert level who meet the required location and experience requirements are encouraged to apply! Titles and pay scale will be commensurate with role competency & experience.
We are seeking candidates who live within a reasonable driving distance to Philadelphia, PA.
The work location will be in our client’s Philadelphia office with travel to outside work locations in the region as project needs arise. On-location work may exceed 30 days in duration.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Initiation : Lead project initiation activities, including defining project objectives, scope, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, identifying project resources and establishing project governance structures.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to define project requirements, expectations, and success criteria. Foster effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and external vendors or partners.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage project risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle. Develop risk management plans, mitigation strategies, and contingency plans to address potential threats and capitalize on opportunities. Monitor risk exposure and implement corrective actions as needed.
Project Execution: Oversee the execution of project activities according to the defined project plan, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to allocate resources, manage dependencies, and resolve issues or conflicts that may arise.
Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, evaluating change requests, assessing impacts, and obtaining approvals as necessary. Ensure that changes are implemented in a controlled manner, minimizing disruption to project objectives and stakeholders.
Performance Monitoring and Control: Monitor project performance against baseline plans, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track progress, identify variances, and forecast project outcomes. Implement project controls mechanisms, such as Earned Value Management (EVM), to measure performance and make data-driven decisions.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and customer requirements. Establish quality management processes and conduct regular reviews and inspections to identify and address any quality issues or non-conformances.
Communication and Reporting: Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and senior management, communicating project status, achievements, risks, and issues. Prepare and distribute project status reports, meeting minutes, and other documentation as required.
Project Closure: Lead the project closure process, ensuring that all project deliverables are completed, accepted, and handed over to stakeholders. Conduct post-project reviews to assess lessons learned, capture best practices, and identify opportunities for improvement.
