Matrix Providers is seeking a dedicated Child Clinical Psychologist to join us at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. We provide healthcare services to Military Service Members and their families, offering a supportive environment with lower provider-to-patient ratios and consistent schedules.
Key Highlights

• **Location:** Walter Reed National Military Medical Center
• **Patient Population:** Children/Adolescents
• **Responsibilities:** Conduct assessments, diagnose and treat a variety of behavioral and mental health issues, offering psychological support to Child and Adolescent patients.
• **Compensation:** $72 per hour $10,000 Sign-On Bonus
• **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• 40 hours per week
• No nights, weekends, or on-call duties

Responsibilities As a Child Clinical Psychologist

• Perform psychiatric assessments on child & adolescent patients
• Conduct psychosocial evaluations and provide therapeutic interventions
• Offer treatment using various modalities such as psychotherapy, play therapy, group therapy, and family therapy
• Administer and interpret psychological tests for diagnosing mental and personality disorders
• Develop comprehensive treatment care plans following behavioral health care standards
• Coordinate services for patients transitioning to other locations
• Participate in case staffing meetings to discuss patient cases

Requirements

• Education: Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program
• Certification: Maintain current BLS certification
• Experience: Minimum two years working with children & adolescents
• Licensure: Current license to practice Clinical or Counseling Psychology in any U.S. state or territory
