This position offers the opportunity to provide healthcare services to veterans and their families at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton and other Branch/Area Health Clinics in Oceanside, CA.
Position Details
- Status: Full Time
- Compensation: Hourly
- Schedule: Services provided Sunday through Saturday, 6:00 AM - 11:00 PM, with shifts typically lasting 8.5 to 9 hours, including an uncompensated 30 to 60-minute lunch break. A maximum of 80 hours per two-week period.
- Benefits: Competitive financial package, comprehensive insurance coverage, Accrued Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, 401(k) Plan.
- Degree: Certificate
- Education: Graduation from an accredited medical laboratory technician training program
- Certification: ASCP or AMT certification/registration
- Experience: One year experience as specified in the TO
- Perform a range of clinical laboratory tests in various sections
- Prepare specimens, reagents, and maintain instruments
- Conduct quality control procedures
- Prepare specimens for transport and proper disposal of waste
