Position Details
- Employment Status: Part Time
- Compensation: Hourly position, paid bi-weekly
- Schedule: Wednesday through Friday, 8am-4pm
- Benefits: Competitive financial package
- Hold a Ph.D. or PsyD in Psychology from an APA-Accredited Program
- Valid and unrestricted licensure as a psychologist
- Active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good interpersonal skills with flexibility to adapt to changing situations
- Basic computer skills
- Full vaccination per CDC and state guidelines
- Prior VA or compensation exam experience is a plus but not required
- Review pertinent mental health history documentation and conduct one-time, non-treatment behavioral health compensation and pensions exams for Veterans
- Capture responses during the exam through web-based examination forms; all documentation will be completed electronically
- Submit completed exams to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations
- Common assessment reasons include PTSD, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders
