Position Details

• Employment Status: Full-time
• Compensation: Salaried position with bi-weekly pay
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
• Location: Alamogordo, NM

Job RequirementsTo excel in this role, the ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:

• Active and unrestricted Audiologist license
• Master's or doctorate from a CAA, ACAE, or ASHA accredited program
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Basic computer proficiency
• Must be fully vaccinated in accordance with CDC and state guidelines
• Previous VA or compensation exam experience is a plus

Job ResponsibilitiesAs an Audiologist at Matrix Providers, you will:

• Review medical history documentation to conduct one-time audiology compensation and pension exams for Veterans
• Utilize web-based examination forms to capture exam responses electronically
• Perform comprehensive audio exams including Pure Tone Air and Bone, tympanometry, acoustic reflex testing, and speech recognition
• Ensure all necessary equipment is available on-site for conducting exams, including custom soundproof booths
