Job Details

• Employment Status: Full Time
• Compensation: Salaried position, paid bi-weekly
• Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:00-5:00pm

QualificationsTo be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Hold an active and unrestricted Audiologist license
• Possess a master's or doctorate from a program accredited by CAA, ACAE, or ASHA certification
• Certification: Active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to changing environments
• Basic computer skills
• Full vaccination in accordance with CDC and state guidelines
• Previous VA or compensation exam experience preferred but not required

Job SummaryAs an Audiologist at Matrix Providers, your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing relevant medical history documentation and conducting one-time audiology compensation and pension exams for Veterans
• Capturing exam responses through a web-based form, with all documentation completed electronically
• Performing comprehensive audio exams to assess hearing loss or tinnitus
• Conducting standard tests such as Pure Tone Air and Bone, tympanometry, acoustic reflex testing, and speech recognition
• Utilizing equipment located on-site, including custom soundproof booths
