POSITION OVERVIEW

Matthew 25 is looking for a Pharmacist to work with us on a PRN basis. The pharmacist will need to be available M-F and be able to cover for the Clinical Pharmacy Manager when needed. The duties that the Pharmacist would be responsible for when working are overseeing the daily business and administrative functions of Matthew 25’s pharmacy, including dispensing prescription medication and advising clients. Other duties entail managing the inventory, and ensuring the safe storage of prescription drugs and controlled substances. They may also review prescription details. The Pharmacist will deliver great patient care and customer service to Matthew 25’s patients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A doctor of pharmacy degree (PharmD) accredited by the accreditation council for pharmacy education. Active Pharmacy License in good standing in the state of Indiana.
• State-approved license to practice as a pharmacist, in good standing.
• In-depth knowledge of the pharmacological uses and side effects of prescription drugs and controlled substances.
• Exceptional communication skills in advising customers.
• Ability to proactively follow up any irregularities with scripts processed at the pharmacy.
• Competency in pharmacy management software.
• Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends for special events, if necessary
